Kayenta Boarding School provides a nurturing residential program for kindergarten through eighth-grade students. Our residential facility, Joseph Hall, offers a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where students can academically and socially thrive.

Residential Life at Joseph Hall

Living at Joseph Hall means being part of a close-knit, interactive community where students form strong bonds and develop valuable life skills. Our educational program emphasizes:

  • Building lifelong learning habits
  • Enhancing social-emotional intelligence
  • Boosting self-esteem

Students are encouraged to participate in school-sponsored activities on and off campus. We cultivate a sense of community among students while also supporting individual growth.

Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for their campus check-ins and check-outs, allowing them to practice accountability and develop independence.

Regular attendance is vital to student success. A student will be withdrawn if they are absent for ten consecutive days.

Parental Involvement

We believe in consistent collaboration between parents/guardians and the school staff. Parents/Guardians play an active role in supporting their student’s success by:

  • Attending parent-teacher conferences
  • Participating in school board meetings
  • Volunteering for various school functions

Learning Resources at Joseph Hall

Joseph Hall is equipped with various learning resources to enhance academic achievement for all students. Our residential program ensures that students receive the support services they need to succeed in their studies.

Residential students grow physically, mentally, and spiritually within a structured and supportive living and learning environment.

Our Commitment to Student Success

At Kayenta Boarding School, we are dedicated to creating a well-rounded student life experience that prepares students for high school, college, and beyond.
