PAC Meeting

Brief update from the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting held on February 26, 2026.

During the meeting, members reviewed feedback from the recent Breakfast with Shi Heart event and discussed the importance of increasing parent participation at future engagement activities. The committee also discussed purchasing a PAC camera to help document events and improve communication with families. This purchase was approved.

Student Council Advisor Ms. Moreno attended to present information regarding the upcoming 3rd Annual Science Fair. Student Council requested PAC support in co-hosting the event. Planning will begin in March prior to Spring Break, with categories divided into K–2, 3–5, and 6–8. The PAC approved co-hosting the Science Fair and looks forward to supporting this event.

The committee also approved the previously discussed student movie outing incentive for students who demonstrated growth on Interim 2 assessments (February 23–27).

Additionally, a Parent Summit is scheduled for March 26 at 10:00 AM. The PAC approved purchasing goodie bags for attending parents. The next PAC meeting will be held on March 25, 2026, to assemble these materials.
